What should we do? We searched again about that topic on the internet. We saw that there are another entrances. We checked it, and analyzed the map. We decided to use the Lion Gate.
When we went to courtyard of the Musée du Louvre, we wanted to find the Lion Gate, like other tourists. However, there was no the Lion Gate which is used to enter the Musée du Louvre. We were disappointed that we won't enter the Musée du Louvre, because there was too long queue.
when just we decided to go out from courtyard of the Musée du Louvre, we saw some people who were descending the stairs. We ran over there, and asked handsome french security that could we enter there,
The answer was the huge YES!

There is no need and special thing to wait too long time to enter the Musée du Louvre, but, if you want to use the Pyramid entrance for romanticism, you are free.
You can find two alternative entrances on the right and left side of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel.
